Chester Nez was one of the First Twenty-Nine Navajo Code Talkers in World War II. Following the war, he completed high school in Lawrence, Kansas then enrolled in the art program and the University of Kansas. 

 

The original work is on display at the gallery, and the family has made beautiful archival prints available for purchase so that you can enjoy it and to continue to fund their efforts to preserve and promote his work and the Code Talker story.
