Enrollment includes all materials needed to complete the course. If you want to keep copies of the Books, Reference Cards, and Pocket Masks they may be purchased ahead of time or at the class.
 
This course is for individuals who need or want to certify in CPR, AED and Universal First Aid. This is an American Red Cross Course and will certify students who successfully complete the course for 2-years.
 
The Course will cover the skills needed to help save a life and include CPR and AED components for Adults and Pediatrics (Children and Infants) as well as First Aid skills.
 
Course Length
The course is about 6.5 hours long. There is a 30-minute lunch break.
 
The course includes video and live demonstrations, practice sessions with your instructor, as well as a written test.  
 
This is longer than most offerings. I have been teaching CPR and First Aid since 2002 and have found that students WANT the portions that have been cut from the new curriculum. This include treatment for everyday injuries, such as nose-bleeds, heat-exhaustion, hypothermia, and more. This also allows for a more moderate pace of practice sessions and questions without going over the scheduled time.
 
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Courses paid in full may be refunded up to 95%.
Cancellation 7-days or more from the start date of the class are eligible for a 95% refund or may be 100% transferred to another date (1-transfer allowed).
Cancellation 48-hours or more from the start date of the class are eligible for an 80% refund or may be 100% transferred to another date (1-transfer allowed).
Cancellation less than 48-hours from the start date of the class are forfeit $45. The balance may be refunded or applied to another date.
