"Nature's first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; but only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay." - Robert Frost

I shot this in the late fall of 2018 in Northern New Mexico, where I now live. Much of my photography focuses on the minute details we take for granted and walk by everyday. There is beauty surrounding us and it is fleeting. My lens allows me to capture these fleeting moments and share them.

I carry a Nikon D7000 as my workhorse. It's a great camera, but it's not the camera that take the picture. I used this in combination with a Nikkor 85mm macro.
